Annoyances regarding Connections

When I have two PSD task windows open (PSD1 and PSD2) and I create a new connection in PSD1, it's not visible in PSD2. Now when I close first PSD1 and then PSD2, the settings of PSD2 overwrite again the settings from PSD1 and my connection is gone when I next time open a PSD task window again.
I'd like new connections that I create in one PSD task window to be visible in all PSD task windows right away and want them to get stored in the settings independently of the order in which I close my PSD task windows.

The creation of new connections should be made easier. I'd like to create a new connection as a copy/paste from an existing one, where I just then want to change parts of the definition, while using others as they are. I'd also like to be able to test a connection right when creating one or also later on in the same "Define Connections" dialog.

When I use the "Database" pull-down menu, all tnsnames are in upper-case, I guess since they are like that in tnsnames.ora. However I find it a lot easier readable to use lowercase here, like as well for the username. Of course I can override the pull-down value but that defeats the purpose of the pull-down menu then.

It might make managing connections easier, if it were possible to enter them in an Excel like grid, with all the connection information visible at once.

Any idea when any of these requests will be implemented?

When do connections in the connection pane actually get saved?
When I have one project open and add connections in there and leave the "Define Connections" window again, I can see my defined connections in this project Connections pane.
However when I open a new project without closing the first one, I cannot see the new connection in there. I can only see them in the 2nd project after I completely close both PSD projects and open them again.

Couldn't you at least store connections right after leaving the "Define Connections" window, to make things easier?

This behaviour is still unchanged in v10.0.0.
There is a new feature though:
Preferences will be synchronized between PL/SQL Developer instances (Tools, Documents, Reports, Object Browser Folders, Browser Filters, File Browser Folders)."
Could this be extended for Connections any time soon as well?
