With ToracleDataSet, D4, Oracle 8.1.5 on linux and DOA 3.3.3 and 3.4.6.
When one row on multiple table are in Edit mode on the same time, all that rows are locked for other users attempting to go in edit mode with lock immediate.
If just ONE row returns in Browse Mode, all the others rows stay in edit mode but THEY ARE NOT any more protected. Other users may put these rows in Edit mode and update them without an error 'record locked by another user'.
Is this the normal functionnality of the record locking mechanism.
My customer is waiting for a confirmation.
