All Editors in V7

Hi
All editors (SQL Window, Package Window, Function Window...) do not show Arabic characters correctly, there is always clutter and overlap and noisy character shown, especially when scrolling up and down , left or right.
Note this problem does not exist in version 6 !!!
This very important because when we want to write some Arabic messages inside the code , we obliged to use notepad and copy-paste the text into PLSQL Developer editor. This is very annoying. I tried to set character set in the preferences to "Windows-1256(Arabic)" but with no result.
Please fix this.

Have you tried to check "Allow variable width for fixed width fonts" within Editor Preferences?

I have tried "Allow variable width for fixed width fonts" with no good result.

Note that I have tried trial versions 712, 713, 714 and all of them have the same problem.

The reason that I am still using version 711 is that newer versions hangs when invoking large data editor on character (char , varchar, varchar2...) columns contains Arabic characters (even 1 character). This is another problem of course and there is a post for it for Hebrew characters as well.

Well I tried v715 and the problem still there. But there is some clue for you I found by a chance to resolve "application hang" error when opening large data editor on character column containing non-English words:
In large data editor the default opening is to wrap words, I tried to open it without putting the mouse inside it, then I used keyboard to right-click and uncheck "wrap-word", then it still functioning when moving the mouse inside it. But marking the words , reading order (RTL) , noisy characters and noisy background still there. When open large data editor on English only column, there is no problem!!!

We have some more diagnostics in place now, so perhaps you can you modify the shortcut and add the debugsql parameter? For example:

"C:\Program Files\PLSQL Developer\plsqldev.exe" debugsql

Reproduce the problem and send me the debug.txt file that is generated in the PL/SQL Developer directory.
