Alias for templates

Hi,

is it possible to define some short alias name for a template?

I want to enter the alias name in the editor and when I press the key for code complete, if the alias matches it pastes the template. In the case if the name is not complete yet the list of matching templates is shown in the code complete window.

I know there is the "texType" plug-in available, but there no placeholder variables are supported :-(

This is currently not possible, but I have added it to the list of enhancement requests. Also note that there is a Template Plug-In (http://bar-solutions.com ) that may help.
