Afterconnect and Network install

At my current site they changed to using PL/SQL Developer through Novell Application Launcher, which means that PLD is no longer on my client machine.

Where can I set the directory so that I can put Afterconnect.sql on a personal drive/folder?

PL/SQL Developer will only look for AfterConnect.sql in the installation directory. This is not always desirable for a shared installation, so I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.

On a related note, the desktop command line option also causes problems with our Network install. It works perfectly as long as I'm logged on to the system, but if I have to reconnect to the system I get a 'blank' PLD. So it appears that the 'desktop' file is stored in a location which is cleared when logging off.

It would be nice if I were able to define a local persistant location for the 'desktop' file to be stored.
