This message is appearing so frequently that it does not let me work. I have to close the window completely and start another session. All over again. What can be done to correct it? I do not find the log file you requested in other topics anywhere in my C drive (plsqldev.log). Is it maybe under a different name?

1. When does this happen?
2. What is your PL/SQL Developer version?

I see it either when I run a query (only retrieve), when I try to save the statement, very very frequently. The version I am using is 4.0.2.410

Version 4.0.2 is very old, so that's why there is no log file. Can you try the same with a trial version of 7.0? You can download it here , and install it in a separate directory.
