In ver. 15 active tab was in white, inactive - in grey.
In ver. 16 both are in grey.
How to distinguish which of them is active?

The 16.0 screenshot does not seem quite right. Do you see any error messages during startup?

Can you also go to Preferences > User Interface > Appearance and let me know which "Light style" you are using? Can you select a different style that provides better contrast, restart PL/SQL Developer, and try again?

There are no error messages during startup.
Both screenshots are made with identical appearance settings: "Light style" -> .
If choosing an any different style, everything becomes correct.
But with style all renders faster...

The program window tabs are affected.
The main (MDI) window tabs, and the SQL window result tabs are perfect.
but the MDI window selector on the right (last picture) should be bette.

Previously, in an other thread, I mentioned, that the appearance of the tabs are confusing.
I've figured out, why I feel it.
The Windows11 Light theme looks fine,
but the Win11 polar light theme isn't.
The difference is, that in the Windows11 Light theme, the active tab has the same color as the tab page, it is continouos .
but in the polar light theme, the inactive tabs has the same color, as the tab pages, and for me, it looks, that the page2, page3 tabs belongs to the current tab page, not the page1 tab, because it has a different color.
