9.0.6 installation and JAVA

Does the PL/SQL Developer 9.0.6 installation install any JAVA, or try to update any existing JAVA-related files?

To get any software approved for use here, we run security scans before and after installation - any new vulnerabilities found will halt the approval process. I just got through the scan process after several weeks of waiting for various people to do their jobs, and 3 new vulnerabilities showed up related to JAVA. The system support people swear they didn't install anything related to JAVA, the user swears he didn't do anything on his own, and the security people are about to drop approval unless I can explain this.

I can start the scan process over again, but that is likely to delay us several more weeks. Can you tell me if the PL/SQL Developer installtion may have caused this?

No, the PL/SQL Developer installation is "clean" and does not change any other system files or settings.
