7.1.2 and keywords

do i miss something or why are collection functions as .trim, .extend, .count not treated as keywords anymore ?

They are indeed not language keywords when used as collection functions. They are (standard) functions.

I would prefer to make this self-manageable via preferences and i really would like to have this feature back.

We've had this keyword vs function debate here before. I think most of us would consider all words used in the language to be keywords and expect them to be highlighted the same way, but apparently to some people there is a distinction to be made, and this is why SELECT and SUBSTR are treated differently. I always have to edit the .kwf file adding the missing keywords (sorry, "functions") and taking out others like DESCRIPTION and RESULT.

At least it's not as baffling (or hard to change) as Vim's defaults, which put GROUP and BY in two different colours.
