I need help - where are user.prefs hidden in ver 10.0 ? I uninstall 9, 10beta and install 10.0, my connection list is full from 9, its good, but Im unable to find my user.prefs file, in Preferences directory there is only Default directory with default.ini.
And Im unable to find the way in Tools-Preferences.
If there is another file than user.prefs where connetions are in ver 10?

Anyway in manual I read that with this settings in plsqldev.exe prefpath=u:\userdata
you can set where user preferences will be, so that means that if connection list is still in user.prefs I may reroute it with this parameter to another disk or directory. Ive checked my params.ini and they default from installation, so that mean that user.prefs must be in default way, but unable to find where....

By default your preferences will be stored in:

%APPDATA%\ PLSQL Developer\Preferences\

For example:

C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\PLSQL Developer\Preferences\

Thanks, AppData was hidden, so this was the reason I didnt find it before. File is here, so thanks for your help.

Anyway I have in 10 beta forum this something about user.prefs still unsecure, even Ill be happier if it will be crypted with master password, the way that I can reroute user.prefs onto another directory then where plsqdeveloper installation is can help me too, because now I can reroute user prefs to user shared only disk and encrypt it there. I write it there because it looks like beta forum was closed, so I cannot edit my post there.

Just one thing - on Win7 it gives user.prefs to the right path, on WINXP its still on program files. No matter on that, I solved it throught prefpath= parameter, I know that XP will be there max till one year when support from microsoft ends, I write it there for other guys who may have the same problem..
