Thanks a lot Richard. This thing got me crazy too. The surprising part was that my colleauge installed the same version from same executable and it worked fine for him. Thanks ones again.

i have installed the newer version and the prefernces on the editor/ syntax highlighting are not coming into effect, even if i change the background color or check the italic check box , it does not take effect. does any one know what i can do for this to work.
