    Hi, We don't use BLOB. Varchar2 works fine. Also, some CLOBs work fine as well. I looked inside the CLOB. its an XML file and it works fine on the previous release. I did not see any special characters init as well. Would sending you the CLOB help you? If so, please supply an email address...

    Thanks for the reply, I tried it but it did not help. This used to work in previous release. We had to upgrade due to using Oracle client 10.2.0.2
