When i'm at SQL window i can select query, press F5 and Explain Plan window opens. But if selected query is a MERGE statement - nothing happens. Copy&Paste from SQL to ExplainPlan works fine.

sometimes SQL query takes much time to execute :) it'll be nice feature to play a sound or to display visual alert (like a "new message arrive" in outlook) when execution finished.

i have the same issue with expanding the tables' tree. plsql developer version 7.0.2.1076, Oracle 10.2g
