Hi Marco. Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure what the problem was, but reinstalling oracle 11 fixed it. I also installed oracle in a another (virtual) machine and this works fine too. So the problem was in my oracle installations and not DOA. Sorry for cluttering the forums.
