Hi, Tried that and it throws a blank Error poup box but at least does not hang. The error seems to occur on almost any packaged function on any DB (dev or prod, RAC or non-cluster) that I try. all on 11.1.0.7.0 version.

For your information we have encountered this bug and error message using PLSQL DEV v8: "An attempt has been made to operate on an impersonation token by a thread that is not currently impersonating a client". Cracking error message! plsqldev.elf file emailed seperately. Thanks, Jeremy
