Am using PL/SQL developer under wine and its almost perfect. Thing is a get a red X as the first entry under each node in the object browser (left hand panel). Anyone know how to fix this.

That was about running with wmware. That triples the cost of using PL/SQL Developer (cos it needs a XP license) and also does a similar thing to the memory footprint? I think wine is the only option, I am nearly ready to post a HowTo here. Ben

Been looking through old posts. Obviously getting a Linux port is not going to come anytime soon but allroundautomation could at least help with wine by saying if PL/SQL works with wine and put up a howto. Ime getting the impression that it does not and we are going to have to use Oracle SQL...
