Did anyone ever find a solution to this? I have |pipe|, ;semi-colon;, and /slash/ in my password!! I have escaped the necessary characters correctly for sqlplus, but the same escaping does not work starting PL/SQL Dev'r from the cmdline :eek:

Aww, man, I just worked it out. Someone else had a problem where they had somehow changed a shortcut to the tab key. That's what had happened to me -- I had tab key as shortcut for indent line!!! Well that's an hour of my life I won't get back :o
