    Newbie - installation question

    When I create my installation package are there any files (DLL's) that I have to include in order to connect to the Oracle server? Do I have to install the Oracle client on all my users' machines? Is there anyway to avoid this? We are using Oracle Server 8i and client 8.1.6.

    Standard Version versus Object Version

    I am seriously considering buying the Direct Oracle Access Components. Does the Standard Version support access to the Oracle LOB data type or do I need the Object Version? Also, is the trial download fully functional or is it crippled? (At one point I was receiving a "Needs Delphi to run" error...
