OK, I found the answer by digging in the online help, but it wasn't easy. With the Program Window open, go to Tools -> Code Contents to toggle the display.

When I am editing a package, how can I get the program window to display the list of functions and procedures on the left side. This seems to have disappeared since I upgraded to 9, and I am lost without this quick navigation. thx, Barbara
