    Versions

    I need to use an Oracle 8x database. Version 7 of PL/SQL Dev does not allow me to login. Is it safe to install (a lower version) 6.05 of PL/SQL with a version 7, or can I change 7 in an option to get on Oracle 8x [from a Windows XP SP1 machine]?
