    TNS-12637: Packet receive failed

    This issue is resolved. A simple reboot fixed it. I had previously been connecting over a VPN and am now on the local LAN. I am guessing the DEV connection "remembered" the VPN tunnel.

    I am connecting to an Oracle 10g database using PL/SQL Developer 9.0.2.1623 and I get a "TNS-12637: Packet receive failed error" when I connect to my Development instance. I can connect to my Production instance with no problem. I can connect to my Development instance with SQL*Plus as well...
