I have this strange problem. I am using Delphi 5 (incl. Servicepacks) and DOA 3.3.3 with Oracle 8.1.6 (Client/DB). Whenever I exit my program within the IDE I run onto somekind of debugpoint ... does anyone know what I can do ? Thanks Nils
That's the strange thing. I only end up in the debugger. When I press F9 once then program finishes without a problem. If I disable the integrated debugging, everything is ok. So it looks as if I am hitting a break point.
I have encountered the same situation. In my case, the D5 displays the processor registers window and the current executing code highlighted. Is this some sort of a memory problem?
No, there seems to be a problem with the Oracle 8.1.6i trace utulity. With 7.3.x you could uninstall the trace and the problem was gone. If I try to remove the trace files, oracle will deinstall the whole client. So does anyone know a solution ?
