I am new to PLSD (but have used TOAd for many many years) so this might be a basic question.

Is it possible to have multiple sessions open at the same time? So, I can have two sqlwindows open each connecting to two different sessions or databases?

currently it doesn't seem so, or I don't know how.
Any ideas? Also when is 6.0 due?

Just start another PLSD. I think that there is even an entry under the File menu item that starts another session.

Thanks Scott,

Outside of starting a new instance, can you switch (or toggle) between sessions in one instance of PLSD? And by sessions, I mean to different sessinos to two databases ...

You can switch easily, but you lose your original session.

I was a big fan of the session switch of Toad... despise the few (herm) problems it could cause (more due to me than the program. Actually, it is the only function I really miss.

I work in a mutli-user/instance/database/location environment (no it is not a mess!), so I did think a bit to this issue. In fact, more than the multi-instance functionality, what I really need is a

That sounds doable. I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.
