Hi,

I have been using menu shortcuts for PLD to logon to different instances for a long time. All shortcuts have the following format:

"C:\<directory path>\plsqldev.exe" nosplash noconnectionlist desktop=test userid=<user>/<password>@<dbinstance> prefpath="<directory path>"

For some reason, since a couple of months, PLD always tries to logon to my DEV instance, no matter which shortcut I select.

Anyone got any clue?

Perhaps you have a project opened that is connected to the DEV instance, and have configured PL/SQL Developer to automatically reopen the previously used project? If so, close the project and try again.

After selecting 'Project/Close' in all active instances of PLD and then killing and restarting them everything appears to have returned to 'normal'.

I do recall playing around with Projects some time ago, but I was not aware that my 'experiment' was still open.
