Hi. On every use of the left bracket - "(", the session of the PL/SQL-Developer get stuck - "Not Responding".
Re-installation did not help. Upgrading to ver 9.0.2 - did not help. Disabling Default users preferences set - did not help.
This problem is local only on a specific machine. (My work station).
It seems that pressing left bracket refers to some meta-data that cannot be found...

I appreciate your help.

Can you update to 9.0.6 and try again? If it is still slow, then to obtain some more diagnostic information, can you modify the PL/SQL Developer shortcut and add the DebugSQL parameter? For example:

"C:\Program Files\PLSQL Developer\plsqldev.exe" DebugSQL

Reproduce the problem and send me the debug.txt file that is generated in the PL/SQL Developer directory or in the %APPDATA%\PLSQL Developer directory (e.g. C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\PLSQL Developer).

I have the same problem with version 9.0.6.1665.
It appears when I am connected to a database via VPN.
With patience - a couple of minutes - the connection is reestablished.

I will wait for a response to the above mentioned problem unless you would like a debug file from me too.

I have the debug file ready, but what email address should I send it to?

Sorry I found it
