Hi experts,,

There are no SQL*plus install. After install PL/SQL 6.05, I could not open PL/SQL Developer and got message as
SQL*net not properly install and
display OracleHoMeKey and Oracle dir.
my system as window server 2003 and database as Oracle10g 2. I can open Pl/SQL developer in database server side.
However I could not open PL/SQL developer in client site. I can ping oracle database from client pc and works

How Do I fix this issue.

Can you do a tnsping ?

i can only use ping in DOS environment.I got a erroe that does not recorgnized tnsping command.
tnsping is a unix commend. any other way to check issue?

you need Oracle Client, it is the connection software.
It's like just because you have a browser doesn't mean you can "surf the Web" - there're other things in-between that needs to be set up.

Fastest way I know to get the Oracle Client setup:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/oci/instantclient/index.html

Time to have a little chat with your DBA (or someone who knows a bit more about Oracle than you)
