Hi. We have a licens for DOA 3.4.6.1 and like to use the OracleMonitor.

1. Will it work with version 2.1 from here https://www.allroundautomations.com/oramon.exe? If not where do I find a compatible version?
2. Do I need another licens?
3. Where is the sample code to register the monitor?

Thanks

Stig

The Oracle Monitor can be downloaded from the Direct Oracle Access licensed download page. There is no additional license required beyond a Direct Oracle Access license. To use the monitor in your application you need to add the OracleMonitor unit to the uses clause of your application.

Hi,

Sorry for hijacking this thread!

We are using Embarcadero C++ Builder XE6 with DOA 4.1.3.

When I try to use the Oracle Monitor (2.1.1.111) with our application, it simply says that the application "can not be monitored by this version of the Oracle Monitor".

From the release document for the Oracle Monitor it says that it requires version 3.4 or higher of the DOA.

I have just build our application with the added #pragma link "OracleMonitor" to our main cpp file.

Do I need to do something else in our code or do we need another version of the Oracle Monitor?

Thanks & Kind regards,
Mark

If you are using a registered version of Direct Oracle Access, you will also need to download and install the registered version of the Oracle Monitor. The trial version will display this error message.
